About BRE’AMBER

Texas Tech Women’s Basketball Guard Bre’Amber Scott has accomplished a lot of things in a short amount of time. The Little Rock transfer came to Tech last year. While she had to miss some of the season due to a foot injury, she made her presence known in every game she got to play, racking up points, assists, and near-perfect on free throws in every game she played. Before she came to Tech, Bre went to the Final Four, where her team won the SEC tournament. She also competed in the World University Games, where she helped Team USA win a silver medal.

When she’s not playing, practicing, or studying, Bre loves all kinds of music, dancing and singing, and rooting for the Cowboys and the Lakers. While she is passionate about Braum’s hamburgers, her favorite night-out restaurant in town is Table 82.

Bre has a unique experience as a transfer: while some athletes come to Tech because it’s where they got an offer, she chose to be here because she valued the culture of the university and the women’s basketball team, and because she wanted to be surrounded by a community of great people. And she wants to use her NIL to give back to that community. She’s passionate about building partnerships that benefit single mothers, children’s hospitals, and low-income families and children.
